acre house with organic gardens. So far we have 90
types of fruits and nuts, 25 bamboos, 100 other
perennial edibles, a butterfly garden, salad herb
garden, etc. Less than 30 minutes from Port
Charlotte/Punta Gorda & one hour from Sarasota.
We need help planting a public garden, featuring
hundreds of edible and useful plants, all grown
organically. To this end, we have set-up a work
exchange program: 1 1/2 hours a day work exchange
includes bed in a private or shared room in a
communal house, or a private outdoor trailer, some
paid work (wildcrafting mostly at $10/hr.) may be
available(call first to see).
